In the meantime, several of the prototypes have proven their flawless function at many live events and in studio sessions. In fact, there was not a single problem with connections breaking or poor signal quality, for example. The construction also proved to be very robust and survived all transportation unprotected in a backpack or bag. It simply does its job without any problems, which is great.
Meanwhile I also was performing several gigs in Munich downtown at “Bikini Mitte” bar …
… as also with “ambiosonics” at he “Glockenbachwerkstatt” in Munich centre …
… and several more private gigs where other players are also included in the mix.
The MAT 16X8 in combination with an iPad has become an irreplaceable tool for me in every setup. There is no mixing or effect requirement that cannot be solved – even on the fly – with this combination. And it’s all super small and easy to transport.
Everything included in the above sets fits into a single backpack that I can easily carry on my way into town on public transportation.
Belive me, I’m also still working hard to make the MAT 16X8 available to everyone…
